Oversized & overweight
Heavy Haul Transport
Heavy haul transportation for equipment and freight that exceeds standard legal dimensions or weight.
When a load is too tall, too wide, too long, or too heavy for a standard trailer, the move has to be planned before it is booked. Heavy haul transport is the core of our work at Eagle Logistics Express.
Oversized and Overweight Transportation
Heavy haul freight covers construction machinery, industrial equipment, power generation components, oilfield equipment, and oversized structural or modular sections. Each of these loads brings its own considerations: how it is lifted, where it can be secured, what its centre of gravity does on a trailer, and what the delivery site can physically accept.
We start from the specifications. Length, width, height, weight, and loading method tell us how the shipment can be handled and what has to be arranged before it moves. If something about the load or the site changes the plan, we tell the customer before the truck is scheduled — not after.
Customers moving this kind of equipment usually cannot afford surprises. Project schedules, crane bookings, plant shutdowns, and site crews all depend on freight showing up in the condition and at the time it was planned for. That is what heavy haul transportation is really about, and it is how we approach every load.
Typical heavy haul shipments

- Cranes and crane components
- Drilling rigs, tanks, and pressure vessels
- Transformers, generators, and turbines
- Boilers, compressors, and manufacturing equipment
- Oversized building sections and prefabricated structures
Heavy Equipment Transportation
Our heavy-haul transportation solutions support construction, industrial and specialized equipment requiring appropriate trailers, securement and coordinated transportation planning.
Built for Oversized Freight
Oversized machinery and project cargo require careful planning, suitable equipment and dependable execution from pickup through final delivery.
Specialized Equipment Moves
When equipment does not fit standard freight requirements, Eagle Logistics coordinates the trailer, securement and transportation solution required for the move.
What to send us
To review a heavy haul move we need the pickup and delivery locations, the equipment type, the approximate weight, and the approximate length, width, and height. Photographs of the equipment and any load drawings or specification sheets help considerably — you can attach them to the quote request form.
